The memories flooded yesterday the start of the Festival of Miracle.
Last night, the tent behind the Unity School of Bolnuevo hosted the opening acts of the festivities that had a distinctly nostalgic.
First, it conducted the screening of a montage in which, besides showing current images of the Bay of Mazarron and the popular neighborhood and its pilgrimage, snapshots of the past were projected Bolnuevo among whom were a many dedicated people who are not among its neighbors.
It was certainly an emotional tribute to the history of Bolnuevo and its citizens.
But nostalgia has already been installed on the stage through the staging of festivals that the committee prepared for the occasion.
A simulated ship navigation in the sea with nets cast to catch and decorated with antique glass buoys and props himself Bolnuevo fishing past.
A colored fabrics, made by the commission of parties from the fold, simulating the sky, the sea and the dawn of the Bay, next to a beach lined with palm trees.
Natural plants that were borrowed from the "Garden Center The Alcayna" and "The Fuencisla Nursery."
The frame seemed a harbinger of the proclamation that made the totanero attorney Joseph Arias.
He recalled stories of his childhood, interspersed with anecdotes pulled the smiles of those present.
In his words, his first memory of Bolnuevo could not have been indigenous.
"I do not know what it was a small moraga and also did not eat anything," Arias recalled on a passage relating to his family.
"That moraga was the first contact I had with Bolnuevo."
A memory that seemed to last forever request commenting that "I hope the boats kept on the beach," while lamenting that other places are gone forever.
The attorney also recalled the lost tradition of the Moors and Christians that took place on the occasion of these festivals and in this sense, the work of Pedro Muñoz Ballesta former mayor "who gave great prominence to the festivities with the help of others as Councillor Tomás Luis Cabrera ".
But for Joseph Arias "best of Bolnuevo is its people, because they are sea race."
At the end of the proclamation, Arias was presented by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, a replica Phoenician ship.
Precisely Mazarrón Mayor asked the neighbors to make the most of these parties "because they are so ours that every year we feel them as unique."
Ginés addition Campillo was present deputy mayor, Francisco Garcia, who is a neighbor of Bolnuevo, and the rest of council of the government team.
The mayor of Celebration, Isidro Coy, commended the committee for their hard work parties "to make a great holiday program with virtually no economic resources," and thanked the Bolnuevo Neighborhood Association and the Cultural Association "Virgen del Milagro" involvement in these celebrations.
The opening ended with a flamenco show by Carmen Lara and his group, who displayed all his craft on stage, and the subsequent performance of singer David Andreu, who encouraged the audience with their songs late into the night.
Over a hundred people gathered in the marquee by the council, among whom were a large number of foreigners.
Today, they all have a new appointment with the music starting at 9 pm.
The tent will host performances by the winner of the TV show "The Magnificent 7", Laura Munoz, and a popular holiday in the municipality, "Ricky the Andalusian boy" who will be accompanied by her dancers.
