Mazarron taekwondo athletes continue to reap success nationwide.
On this occasion were two bronze medals achieved by the club the "TDK Mazarrón" at the 5th Club Championship in Spain Logroño played in last December; competition held at the Sports Palace in the town of La Rioja and including the holding of the First Championship of Spain of Para-Taekwondo.
In the tournament participated Mazarron athletes Antonio Mendez and Pedro Alonso Acosta Urrea paths that got bronze medals in the senior cadet and male categories respectively.
They also competed successfully Ruben Garcia Ortiz, who reached the semifinals in men's cadet, and Cristina Sanchez Cava, who reached the quarterfinals in women's junior.
Jesus Perez Mendez Mazarron completed participation in the tournament.
A total of 1025 athletes attending the sporting event, reflecting the success of the posts made by the five local athletes.
