This past Sunday Mazarrón Dealers Association (ACOM) and the Association of Housewives "Almazarrón" presented the awards to windows Christmas pageants and Nativity scenes that are held annually to coincide with the Christmas season.

Once again, businesses and citizens of the municipality actively participated in these competitions decorate their homes and businesses to qualify for any awards this year distributed.

In the Christmas window contest, which celebrated its seventh year, was awarded the originality and creativity and innovation and use of lighting and color.

Thus, the first prize went to the bookshop and stationery Navarro, the second was placed in the hands of Bonalea clothing store and the third was for Anthony Jewelers.

It also gave a prize for the most colorful showcase for Craft Leyco the most original and one that went to the vet La Ermita.

The first prize was a night hotel in the "Balneario de Mazarron - Hotel Sensol" double room with breakfast and spa circuit 90 minutes.

The second was a dinner for two at the pizzeria Viggo, while the third prize was a facial in the beauty center Siremar.

For its part, the housewives of the association "Almazarrón" also gave awards for the best this Christmas nativity scenes.

In the adult category the first prize went to Mari Carmen and Juan Moreno Zamora and Elizabeth Rico, while the second fell to Amparo Duran Granados.

In the category Children's first award went to José María Celdrán de Haro, Maria Moreno and Alfonso Hernández Sánchez Campillo, staying with the second prize Alvaro Zamora and Juan Carreño Hernandez Acosta.

Also given a certificate for having participated in high school and college Domingo Valdivieso Manuela Romero, Bahia, Ginés García, Francisco Caparros, La Aceña and La Canada.

At the awards ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and council members and Juan Miguel Isidro Muñoz Coy who wished that next year will continue to increase participation for the shops and streets of Mazarron look better during the Christmas season.
