The presentation has been made by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the president of AMPA CEIP Number 3, Maria Dolores Borreguero.
A total of 960 calendars have been published whose benefits are intended to give the newly released material different center, which still needs materials for teachers and students, as well as furniture for their offices.
It also is waiting for the Ministry of Education set for the official opening date and give its approval to the name chosen by the school board for the center has been "Miguel Delibes".
The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "investing in education is investing in the future" and therefore it was decided that the proceeds from this initiative was to stop the said school.
In addition, Campillo has praised the great work of Juan Sanchez Calventus "who through his photographs show how few know the best of our municipality."
Meanwhile, Maria Dolores Borreguero has asked the neighbors of Mazarron to "become one of these calendars because the beneficiaries are the children of the municipality."
Borreguero explained that the center "does not have much material and so appreciate your generosity to the City of telling us in this initiative."
The calendars feature photographs of the mines, beaches, fields and some symbols of Mazarron.
Calendars can be purchased at the library facilities Navarro, Barber Manolo, Piki Piki Lopez Photography, Paper Folder, BP Pera de la Rosa, Bazar Vivancos, Bachelor Electrical, Furniture Yugar, Colesport, Drugstore-Stationery Francisco Vivancos, Sensol Hotel, Hotel The Summit and Tere Photo.
