The Department of Celebrations of the City of Mazarron is already outlining the activities that make up the Carnival 2012 which will be held from 18 to 21 February.
This was announced yesterday by the area councilor, Isidro Coy, who explained that his department will maintain regular acts of these celebrations but this year there will be some surprises that will be released in the coming weeks.
This announcement was made by the mayor with about 80 representatives of the rocks of the carnival and citizens gathered yesterday at a meeting at City Hall and where they discussed other issues related to the holidays.
In this sense, the participants decided to keep the carnival parade along Avenida de la Constitución and Calle La Via in front of a routing proposal that was made from within the session.
It was also decided, by lot and after a tie vote, the jury awards the Carnival parade is made up of people from outside the municipality.
The other option was that he was a representative of each rock who decides the number of points that each group would receive.
After a tie between the two proposals, the matter was settled by a lottery winner as it left the jury the option "foreigner."
In its goal that all citizens of the municipality participate in decisions that are taken from the council, the council of Celebration will carry out a further meeting to be held on Friday January 20th starting at 8 pm in the auditorium located on the second floor of City Hall, to which are invited all those who wish to participate by contributing their ideas and proposals to enhance the festivities of Carnival.
