The meeting yesterday between the Mayor of Murcia Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the Minister of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Manuel Campos, could not be more fruitful.
During the meeting the representative of the Regional Government promised to build during this term Comprehensive Security Center to strengthen and improve public safety in the municipality.
The units, more modern and adapted to current needs in one building will host the local police forces, Civil Protection and Emergency Municipal Service (EMS) for the purpose of collaboration and joint intervention is providing a higher quality of service and closeness to the citizen.
Besides building the future Integrated Security Center will be designed to support resource optimization, energy savings and convenience of users.
The head of the Presidential noted that constitute the necessary teams in both regional and local administration, to assess its location, and other technical aspects, in order that this center a reality over next few years.
Currently, the staff of the local police Mazarrón comprises 60 agents, who watch daily for the safety of over 35,000 citizens, both residents of the municipality and town in Puerto de Mazarron and numerous villages.
Also during the meeting, attended by the deputy mayor, Francisco Garcia and Councillor for Finance, Revenue, Youth and Sport, Andrew James, Manuel Campos noted that the Autonomous Region will continue to support the areas of Social Services and Youth maintaining economic items are intended for home care services, housing or employment young girl, among others.
