The Municipal Council yesterday agreed to adopt at its regular meeting of February's initial approval of the statutes of the future Board of Sports.
As explained by the area councilor, Andrew James, "given the importance of sport in the municipality consider necessary the creation of this local body to improve and optimize the resources owned by the consistory."
Mazarrón Mayor Gines Campillo, stated that "the objective of the Board is to manage these resources in a professional manner, looking for a professional sports services that reduce the costs allocated to this area."
