Mazarron Town Council awarded the contract on a competitive Service Delivery Home Help FITOMUR the cooperative, founded by seven women UCOMUR Mazarron and associated with the same service to start home help (SAD) on March 1.

This cooperative, as the Mayor of Mazarron, "has the human and material resources needed to provide excellent services to users of SAD."

The components of this cooperative were received in the Meeting Room of Town Hall by Mayor Ginés Campillo in a ceremony attended also by the presence of UCOMUR president, Juan Antonio Pedroza, the Councillor for Social Policy, Gender and Health, Mary Martinez, vice president of this organization and delegate the same in Mazarron, Juan Pablo Muñoz.

Juan Antonio Pedroza City Council thanked the "good direction taken by the session to support the cooperative and social economy in the region."

FITOMUR also has proven experience of these women and their qualifications, with a social worker and a psychologist and as a side note, make available the SAD some novel features that greatly facilitate the excellence of it.

These include a phone 24 hours 365 days a year (666 99 50 42) to maintain continuous contact between users and service, a website (www.fitomur.blogspot.com) that provide specialized information to the families of users, and a new computer system that will handle a rigorous schedule of classroom assistants of Service and the work done and the quality.

In addition, this cooperative agrees to waive the user hundred percent of the hours assigned to the Service excluding travel time, also supplementing with laughter therapy workshops for users and families, reflexology for people with a prescription, and podiatry services hairdresser for users with few economic resources, workshops and group therapy reiki, as well as legal advice and counseling.

The operation of the SAD will be overseen by the Department of Social Policy.

Her owner, Maria Martinez, said that "the home help service promises to be, with this new contractor, so users and their families in the municipality need."
