This morning the school of "Cañadica" has welcomed the campaign "Healthy Lunch" start from the Department of Education of the City, which has the support of the company "Arias Mazarrón Fruit" and Red Cross.
Just the day began with a talk on good eating habits that a Red Cross volunteer has given to parents of students at the school.
Many of them have participated in the activity of fruit dressing.
During the talk the participants explained aspects to bear in mind that children grow strong and healthy thanks to a healthy diet "being the Mediterranean diet model in which we must rely on an" as is said the Councillor for Education, Mary Celeste Soria.
Parents have known the importance of various 5 meals a day are present in fruits and vegetables.
It has also advised those present to feed their children with milk three times a day interspersed with milk, yoghurt and cheese.
Fish also have to be present in the diet three days a week, and the use of olive oil compared with other more oily.
Other advice given to parents is to be avoided as far as possible the pastries can be a food supplement, but never the focus of an infant diet.
The talk also focused on the importance of a good breakfast every morning as it is shown to improve physical and mental performance and attitudes in children.
Breakfast should be done in family sat at the table and without haste, and should consist of milk, cereals and crackers, plus a glass of juice or a piece of fruit.
A talk was also attended ASPADEM members who have been invited by the AMPA center.
After the talk, the school's students and their parents have come to the yard where they could enjoy fresh juices, kebabs and fruit dishes fun, and delicious fruit salad that has been distributed by "Fruit Arias Mazarrón" who has installed a stand for the occasion.
The AMPA "The Cañadica" has also organized activities in each of the classes related to fruit consumption, work the students have been delivered to the mayor of Education.
Maria Celeste Soria stressed "the importance of our children eat well to grow healthy mentally and physically" and has encouraged other AMPAS from other schools to join this initiative.
