On Saturday May 26 the town of Mazarron has one of the motor sports events with more years of experience and more established nationally.
This is the "Rise of Mazarron Bay Automobile" which this year celebrates 30 years.
The proof has been presented this afternoon by Councilman Sports City of Mazarron, Andrew James, and one of the organizers of this competition, Daniel Lopez.
This year's edition has several new features.
The first is the dispute of "I Rallysprint Costa Calida" in conjunction with this increase.
The second novelty is that the test happens to be played on Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday morning as usual in most tests of the Region, and the third is that the test will go for the championship of mountain of Valencia.
For this reason the checks will begin at 8 ½ am in the square Buccaneers Puerto de Mazarron and the road where the climb is disputed, the R-332 will be closed to traffic from 12:30 pm, kicking off the first set of mountains about 14 hours.
Then will host the first leg of Rallysprint, competing in three races most every category.
The fact that the road be closed to traffic beginning at 12 noon ½ "will allow those citizens who wish to access by car to the area where the test takes place at a time very comfortable, making it easier you can enjoy it, "said Daniel Lopez, who added that" competition will feature such prominent athletes as Raul and Javier Moreno Borreguero while Mazarron will be represented by local rider Matthew Bernardo. "
Lopez thanked the Town Council of Mazarron and the sponsors of evidence "his invaluable assistance, without which they could not take place this consolidated rising automobile."
Meanwhile, Andrew James has encouraged citizens to "enjoy the show from which one must note the high level of organization and of security."
