Mazarron has been the venue for the celebration this weekend, the "Final Four Kids" basketball in the Region of Murcia.

All day Saturday, and Sunday of the municipal sports pavilion "The Aceña" will host the meetings of the competition to be held in both male and female category.

The sports event was presented yesterday by the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, and the president of the club "Mazarron Basket", Miguel Zamora.

The first games to be played this Saturday May 26 will be those of the female category.

From 10 am the team "Chemical Cartagena" will face "Archena".

A couple of hours later, at 12 noon, will be the second match which will meet on "Jairis Sewer" and "Molina de Segura".

The losers of both games will battle for third place on Sunday 27 from 10 in the morning, while the final is scheduled to be played on Sunday at 12 noon.

If mornings are for females, the afternoons are reserved for the men.

On Saturday starting at 5 pm will be measured in the first game of the Final Four, the "UCAM Cartagena" and the "Capuchin".

At 7 pm is scheduled to be held the second meeting between the "Lorca" and "Holy Angel".

The match to decide third and fourth will be held on Sunday at 5 pm, and the final between the winners will be held Saturday beginning at 7 pm.

The winners of each category will get a pass for the Championship of Spain of the sport to represent the Region.

The competition is organized by the municipality of Mazarron, the club "Mazarron Basket" and the Basketball Federation of the Region of Murcia.
