The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, accompanied by Senior General Manager of the Murcian Institute for Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez Abellan, inaugurated this morning at the Senior Community Center of Puerto de Mazarron exposure "Center Workshops ".
Both were accompanied by councilors Mary Martinez of Social Policy, and Jose Gomez of Care for Foreign Residents as well as the director of that center, Alfonso Cifuentes, and members of the Committee on Participation of it.
The exhibition features objects and pieces developed by the Centre over the various workshops held throughout the year ranging from tailoring to bobbin lace, through painting, crafts or marquetry .
It can be seen free of charge, on the first floor of the building located on the main street of Puerto de Mazarron every day and a half hours from 10 am to 1 pm and 5 to 7 pm until the next day on June 5.
Senior Director of IMAS, Enrique Perez Abellan, has shown once again as this is already his fourth visit to the Centre, "surprised by the high life and the many activities that take place here."
In fact, this exhibition is one of the last activities performed on the occasion of the celebration of the "Cultural May" which began last Thursday in March and has had performances of music and theater, a recital of poetry, culinary samples and dance exhibitions, among others.
Tomorrow puts an end to the program with the performance, beginning at 5 pm, the components of the holiday committee of the district of San Isidro to take the stage adaptation of the play "What a pair of twins" of the popular actress Lina Morgan.
Also performing theater group "Sunset," the group of this community center, which is releasing the book "When women talk about men."
