This morning the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, accompanied by councilors Mary Magdalena Martinez and Mendez have made awards of the workshop "Make Your Own Roman amphora" carried out within the program drawn up by the Department of Historical Heritage Mazarron Town Hall to celebrate the "International Museum Day".
The first award of this workshop, in which the students of schools of Mazarron had to make a Roman amphora with clay under the direction of multiple displays, went to Sandra Carolina Sanchez Trappe, student 6 of primary school concerted "XXI Century".
The prize was an MP4 and a lot of museum merchandising "Roman Factory Salt."
The second prize of an 8-gigabyte flash drive and a lot of products of that municipal museum, has gone into the hands of Maria Cabrera Martinez 5 ° of Primary CEIP "The Aceña".
Finally Marta Santiago Munoz, a student at Primary 6 of CEIP "Francisco Caparros," has made with third prize of a 4-gigabyte flash drive and another batch of the "Roman Factory Salt"
Some 650 school children participated in the workshop said that they had fun and learned aspects of the history and archeology of the municipality.
The students were also able to display your jars in the "Roman Factory Salt," which visited after completing the workshop, where they were exposed to the public for their friends and family and other visitors to the museum space, could see this work .
