The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the president of Red Cross Mazarron, Carmen Navarro, today signed a collaboration agreement for the provision of lifeguard services at beaches this year.
Both were accompanied by the Councillor for Public Safety of the consistory, Miguel Maria Garcia, and the head of Civil Protection of the municipality, Pedro Hernandez.
All have been particularly happy that this year, thanks to the new agreement, this service is extended considerably.
It should first be noted that the rescue service on the beaches begin to afford, for the first time in history, from 1 June morning, as the Rihuete checkpoints, the Reya, the Castellar and will be operational Bolnuevo every Saturday and Sunday in June from 11:30 to 19:30.
Furthermore, from day 15 of the new month begins tomorrow, stalls and La Reya Rihuete provide this service every day.
Also new this year is that the post of Mojon Beach is put into the list of checkpoints that will be open every day from 1 July to 31 August between the hours stated above.
With the posts will be 12 this year are operating every day in July and August and are the cairn, Alamillo, Rihuete, Harbor, The Island, Bay, La Reya, La Pava, Nares, Castellar, and Bolnuevo Bolnuevo-Camping -Oasis.
