The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the manager of the company "Interempleo ETT SL", Christopher Jove, have signed a collaboration agreement that aims to implement the project "Employers 'T', through which will be provided work to 30 people unemployed in the municipality of Mazarron.
Through the signing of this agreement, the company "Interempleo" shall arrange for an intensive training course food handling for 40 students, with a total of 6 hours of teaching for the horticultural sector and adapted to the posts later be hedged.
Following the completion of this course, and through the mediation of "Interempleo" will be an actual trade of 75% of the students to develop jobs in fruit and vegetable stores municipalities near Mazarron.
That is, 30 of those students will be hired by the company for jobs suitable to their profile, while the remaining 10 will be on the waiting list.
The Convention is part of Project "PROFEIL" developed by the Department of Local Development, Employment, Training, and it was intended to promote, through agreements and lines of collaboration with companies, the employability of job seekers through training and job placement.
The groups that have preference for this training and subsequent employment, women are unemployed jobseekers registered in the municipality of Mazarron and users of the Centre Local Employment and Training Session.
Christopher explained Jove for the firm "is the first public-private agreement that is signed in the Murcia region so we should congratulate the City of Mazarron for pioneering this initiative."
The manager of "Interempleo" also stressed that "this agreement affects not only the training that is where we always focus, but also in the insert. It is therefore a step towards economic recovery and employment we need to more prepared and qualified staff. "
According to the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, "from the City of Mazarron are aware of the serious situation facing so many families in the municipality who are unemployed, and we are making a greater effort, if possible, to provide measures and real and effective solutions, not just the medium to long term but short term as this action ".
The mayor also wanted to emphasize that "is an initiative that affects a disadvantaged such as women, but later acting in other sectors will also need to the current economic climate".
For the selection of students shall address criteria such as age job seeker be a user of Local Employment Centre, have work experience related to providing training, have other related training course as well as the suitability to the job.
