The festivities of the hamlet of La Atalaya concluded on Sunday with the awards ceremony of competitions, which was attended by the council of Celebration, Isidro Coy, and the cast of the popular donuts with which, each year, put the end to the festivities in honor of Corpus Christi.
The celebrations this year have had an active participation of the residents of this hamlet, and other places throughout the Mazarron and the surrounding areas of Calnegre Leads and Morata.
Among the acts took place the traditional choice of the Queens and Mister of the holidays.
The title of Queen of the festival of The Watchtower 2012 went to the young Mary Vivancos Gonzalez.
In regard to children's representatives, the Child was Queen Anne Munoz Acosta, while the title of Mr. Child went to Matthew Perez.
On Sunday night also gave the title of Miss Guest, who this year was awarded to Lina Oliva Sáez.
Other activities will also be highlighted, besides the mass held in honor rociera Corpus Christi, was the contest crumbs, delicious paella prepared by the association "Calnegre Leads" or the dessert competition in which the cakes "The Red "and" Candy Cake "took the awards presentation and taste in front of a dozen dishes that attended the pageant and were enjoyed by those present once tasted the savory rice.
In regard to the proceedings, the village of Morata involved with the group of Seville "San Juan" and the theatrical group "The Talayón" who displayed all his art on stage.
They also acted Ricky "The Andalusian boy" and his corps de ballet, song singer Laura Munoz, the comedian "Larry" and local artist "Tanya" who demonstrated that in addition to a good singer, is a great songwriter playing a theme dedicated himself to his grandfather.
The festivities ended with the traditional piñata that distributed tens of gifts donated by various organizations and businesses associates with the holidays, and tasting the delicious donuts, made by neighboring Marilo Lorente, who were accompanied by chocolate delight of all present that dismissed in this way so sweet celebrations in honor of Corpus Christi.
