On Saturday June 9th Merchants Association of Mazarron and Shire (Acoma) held its twenty years of life with a very special gala took place on the promenade of La Sal in the Marina of Puerto de Mazarron.
It was attended by more than five hundred people who welcomed the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, and the first deputy mayor, Francisco Garcia.
Ginés Campillo Acoma congratulated "the journey made in defense and support of local businesses during these twenty years. A journey that desire lasts many years."
Also present were the President of Acoma, Jose Maria Delgado, and its treasurer, Gabriela Esparza, who informed the work of the association.
Gala attendees could enjoy several performances that began with the Rondalla de Mazarron, who played a large number of songs from his vast repertoire, the group continued Sevillanas Dance Academy "Antonio Jara" and the boys and Gym girls "South Bay" with Jonathan and Martha directing the choreography, and ended with the rock group "Lobesia" Puerto de Mazarron.
The association had the assistance of the City of Mazarron which provided the infrastructure consisting of stage, chairs and a snack bar where, to pay for immediate expenses, sold sandwiches, pies, soft drinks and beverages.
All this display of life and joy filled the marina for a few hours.
Also the day also served to make known to the shops and establishments in the municipality that are not yet partners in this partnership can be integrated for greater support in defending their interests.
During the ceremony fifty were raffled gifts donated by members of Acoma and whose facilities had previously distributed the ballots for the draw among its customers.
Of all the gifts that were raffled off, only a lucky few were present who were lucky enough to get one of the prizes, so that the City has provided in its website a list of gifts and winning numbers winners can claim at the headquarters of the association of number 5 Salitre Plaza de Mazarron.
