The hamlet of Cañadas del Romero starts this Sunday its festivities in honor of San Juan Bautista that will have more activities on 22, 23 and 24 June.
Sunday 17, from 10 in the morning, takes place March Mountain Bike starting and finishing on the track of "The Balcony".
There will be prizes for the top three finishers and the activity helps the company "Ociomur Sport Park".
The festival program will resume on Friday June 22 with the reading of the opening of this year by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, from 10 at night.
Then the mayor, accompanied by the components of the Festival Committee, will open an exhibition of local handicrafts.
At 11 pm there will be a contest of crumbs in which the Commission will donate the flour, oil, and sardines.
The evening will be enlivened with the best disco music.
On Saturday June 23 the residents of the hamlet and all citizens who wish may enjoy a delicious paella.
During the day a kid cuisine will raffle donated by the village headman, Antonio Nicolás Ureña.
At night, starting at 9 and a half, there will be a popular festival with entertainment by "Nerea Duo."
At midnight, and as tradition dictates, they set fire to the traditional fixture and there will be a chocolate for the audience.
On Sunday, 24 is the day of the patron saint, San Juan Bautista, which you will honor with a Mass and wreath that will be held from 11 am.
At 12 noon will be held at the sports center "Los Balcones" pitch a championship in free category and grand prizes Starting at 7 pm come popular games for children and adults to be followed by a large snack.
A fireworks display will be launched at 11 pm I will put an end to the festivities this year.
