This Saturday and Sunday will not be a day in Mazarron.
The reason is the nationally broadcast program Spain National Radio (RNE) "Not an ordinary day" featuring and directed the well-known journalist Pepa Fernandez, who will be accompanied by other media professionals as José María Iñigo, José Ramón Pardo, Concostrina Nieves, Jose Miguel Vinas and Javier Sádaba.
Both releases will be made from the center of Mazarron Day from 8 am to 1 pm.
In the program, whose entrance is free until full capacity, will involve several Mazarron society figures such as Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, the official chronicler of the town of Mazarron, Mariano C.
Guillen, director of the Oceanographic Centre of Murcia, José María Bellido, and the professor of underwater archeology expert at the Phoenician wrecks found on the beach at La Isla, Manuel Martín Bueno.
The program, held to commemorate the 440 anniversary of granting the privilege of Villa, is a unique opportunity not only to meet some of the most recognized and professional prestige in the radio world, but also to discover closer to the painter Pedro Cano, who has become the most universal Murcian artist and one of the leading figures of contemporary art worldwide.
The presence of Pedro Cano, who will participate in the broadcast on Sunday, will become a window prior to the exhibition the artist blanqueño prepared to celebrate the 440 anniversary entitled "Grenades water, seas of paper" and that opened on July 6.
According to the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, "in the coming days Mazarrón live a promotion and dissemination outward as never before seen in the municipality."
