Yesterday was held at the IES "Domingo Valdivieso" Mazarrón the closing ceremony of the academic year of this school that, once again, won scholarships to students who have completed their studies.
This event was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Culture and Tourism, Maria Celeste Soria, and the director of that institute, Daniel Diaz.
During his speech the mayor recalled that a year ago, in the same place, promised to reward the best academic records from each secondary school with a scholarship that would promote the Town Council of Mazarron.
Yesterday, Ginés Campillo finally sealed this commitment by announcing that "the IES Domingo Valdivieso will receive two grants, as has also decided to reward the best record of the municipality and is the institute where the record."
It was then revealed that the mayor "Municipal Scholarship for Academic Excellence" would go for Quiñorero Marina Lopez, while the "Excellence Scholarship IES Domingo Valdivieso" was for Nour El Houda The Ouahabi.
Both scholarships, endowed with $ 500, will be presented next September before the start of the new course next to the center "Philip II" and "Antonio Costa Hellín" which went to Amina Dzenanovic Arnautovic, Javier Martinez Martinez respectively.
The academic was particularly intense this year by several issues.
One was the moving letter that Adrian Adame's mother, Toni Gallego, read to his son who was killed 7 months ago in Mazarron and overwhelmed the audience.
Adrian's mother showed great fortitude and strength to the public thanking "all teachers and students, the love you have given and shown to my son. Thank you for loving him so much."
The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo gave his speech in response to this awe to reveal that the government team appointed last steps to the garden where there was the tragic event with the name "Adrian Adame Gallego."
