This past Friday, the Hall of the Town Hall hosted the closing of the Program for Prevention and Detection of psychomotor difficulties, each year, is launching the Center for Child Development and Early Mazarrón (CDIAT).
The event was attended by the Councillor for Social Policy and Equality, Maria Martinez, the Director of CDIAT, Salvador Sanchez, and the Technical Coordinator of it and responsible for the program, Jose Cotes.
Also present were several of the directors, head teachers and coordinators of each Child of schools that participated in the program.
These have been the "Infanta Leonor", "The Cañadica" the "Francisco Caparros," the "Ginés García", the "San Antonio" Cañada de Gallego, the "Miguel Delibes" and the Center for Child Care ( CAI) of Puerto de Mazarron.
During the ceremony, gave a brief overview of the general results and a review of the program undertaken by tutors who have participated in it.
In addition, at the end of the act was presented to the heads of each of the centers of a dossier with the results obtained in each of the centers.
In total, 592 participated in the program students of the schools mentioned above.
The activities within this program have been "cross-laterality" (127 students), "Difficulties psychomotor" (268), "Bad habits in the sitting position and poor grip pressure on the tool-writing" (140), " Internalizing body schema "(215)," Hyperactivity Disorder "(382) and" Pervasive Developmental Disorders Screening "(13 students).
Councillor for Social Policy and Equality, Maria Martinez, wanted to thank his involvement with schools and Primary who have participated in this program because "although more work has meant for the tutors, the involvement has been high reaching some of them to even ask for an extension of the program. "
The mayor stressed the importance of this initiative "that has produced favorable results as they have been able to correct some of the shortcomings and bad habits of students who have participated in it."
