The beach of Porto last night hosted the first concert scheduled by the Department of Mazarron Town Hall Celebrations to mark the 440 anniversary of granting the privilege of Villa.
The band "Liverpool", led by Gustavo and Saray singers, offered a fantastic sound and light show which entertained hundreds of locals and tourists of all ages who came to the promenade of Puerto de Mazarron to enjoy this show.
Rock music, both nationally and internationally, had a prominent place during the concert in which issues could be heard from groups as mythical as the "Queen", "Nirvana", "Leno," "The Donkey" or "Platero y You. "
These bands songs mixed with pop themes from the golden years of Spanish music set as "Mecano" or "Alaska and Dinarama" with other major figures of contemporary music as "Adele" or "Lady Gaga ".
All present enjoyed greatly the songs performed with great energy "Liverpool", whose members put their increased commitment for more than three hours-long concert.
Tonight it's the turn to the group "Marengo" to act in the same place, the beach of Puerto del Paseo Maritimo, from 22 hours.
It will be the second concert ending the summer tribute to the privilege of Villa, but not the last musical event.
On Wednesday, 15 City Hall will enhance the Feast of the Assumption with a concert that, in this case, will be held at the brand new ride "Augustine Herrerín" on the beach of La Ermita.
It is expected that after the Mass and procession back to the image of the virgin, starting on the 23 hour concert by the group "Alarmantiks".
This band is formed by brothers Rodrigo, Alexander Alonso and Gonzalo Aragon, descendants of the great saga of circus performers, who will present at premiere his latest work entitled "Fly".
Celebrations Councilman, Isidro Coy, stressed that "dramatically yesterday began three days of music and party with whom we want to promote tourism in our municipality."
The mayor explained that "we have made the effort that these people deserve to offer a good range of leisure in the summer and I have to thank both the support of the merchants of the Paseo and the private sector to demonstrate that Mazarron is alive and we make to achieve great things. "
