Mazarrón will once again host the National Championship celebration Military Lifesaving which this year reaches its thirteenth edition.
The event will be held from 3 to 7 September at the beach in La Reya and municipal sports pool "Jesus Canovas Valenzuela".
Was scheduled to participate in the competition the Civil Guard, the Military Emergency Unit (UME), the Spanish Navy, the Army and Air and, for the first time, the Royal Guard.
Still, maybe some body can finally go to this year's competition.
The components and agents of different bodies, both men and women, will face first to the "open water tests."
These will take place on the beach in La Reya from 8 in the morning and counted including surf competitions, ski races, races with tables and swimming mode "Oceanman / Oceanwoman".
In the evening, after 17 hours in the pool of Sports will develop "pool tests" in highlighting the obstacles and mannequins.
Participants have to prove themselves both individually and team because, at the end of the competition, performed a ceremony to award medals to the champions and champions of "open water", the "testing pool" and overall, as well as trophies and medals for the winning team and medals for the first four components of the three qualifiers on the podium.
This competition is sponsored by the Council for Physical Education and Sports of the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense, and organized by the Head of Education of the General Directorate of the Civil Guard.
In addition, the event has the support of the City of Mazarrón selflessly providing facilities for conducting the championship.
Some participants are already making use of municipal facilities.
It is the case of EMU, that during these days do the various tests of the tournament before the competition starts next Monday.
