More than 300 people have now started scuba diving hands of Mazarrón Town Council, the Federation of Underwater Activities in the Region of Murcia (FASRM) and Southeast Diving Center "Bachisub" who have jointly organized Day I Started Diving has proved a success at both participation and organizational.
Among participants who have ventured into this practice were the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the Councillor for Tourism, Culture and Sport, Mary Celeste Soria, and the mayor of Sports, Andres Valera.
The call has exceeded all expectations and brought together dozens of young people aged 14 years and older in Rihuete beach, where there have been diving these baptisms have been totally free.

Meanwhile the manager of that dive center, Alfonso Bachiller, thanked the City Council to support the smooth running of this meeting which involved Civil Defense and Red Cross.
Bachelor explained that "this initiative we take a first step to raise awareness of Mazarrón seabed. Want people to start in this practice to discover the wealth that has become our bay and thus, in a leisure attraction for all those who come to visit. "
