The Mazarron Miguel Reche, a member of the Fishing Club of Puerto de Mazarrón, proclaimed last Saturday in Cartagena II Infant Open champion Sport Fishing Costa juvenile and child from "Grand Prize Decathlon".
The competition, framed within the Second Week of the Real Club Nautica Regatta Cartagena, brought together 87 young athletes belonging to the host club and other clubs in the region among whom was the team Mazarron.
Participants were punctual to the appointment, prompting at 9 am the Cruise Terminal, courtesy of the Port Authority of Cartagena, was full of children.
The great feast of the child and youth fishing highlighted by the success of the catch, as it captured from bream to raspallones, jacks and gold.
In total more than 500 pieces valid, meaning an average weight of 1 kilogram per participant.
If the champion in junior category was Reche Miguel Domingo, in the junior category winner was Saugar Ana Romero, St. Lucia Yacht Club.
The greater part of the contest the Carrión Alejandro Marquez scored with 446 grams of gold, while the largest number of pieces was also obtained by Miguel Reche Mazarron, with a total of 44 catches.
The day ended with the presentation of trophies and sports equipment to all participants donated, mostly by "Decathlon Cartagena".
