Mazarrón morning commemorate the arrival of the municipality of Villa Privilege in 1572.
This memorial is one of the main events of the celebration of the 440 anniversary of the granting of the privilege of Villa development since last November.
Specifically, the Council recalled the arrival of the privilege to the Villa with a ceremony in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall where the president will attend the Regional Assembly of Murcia, Francisco Celdran, and the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, from 19:30.
This event will begin with an extraordinary plenary session in which the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, along with spokesmen for the various political parties represented in municipal, read an excerpt from the document granting the privilege signed in 1572 King Philip II, king that granted independence to the Houses of Almazarrón alums.
Later, the official chronicler of the Villa, Mariano C.
Guillen, read a Memorial Act this act, and again the Mayor of Mazarrón take the floor to make a tribute to all the mayors of the municipality who have ruled since the entry into force of the current Spanish Constitution.
They will be given a commemorative coin of 440 Anniversary celebration thus terminates the extraordinary plenary session.
It is also envisaged that after finishing the full, take the floor to the President of the Regional Assembly, Francisco Celdran, who will speak on behalf of all municipalities in the region.
Celdran and the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, then sign the guest book Mazarrón Town Hall.
Finally, they all descend from the Meeting Room at the Town Hall where there will be a dramatic reading of the arrival of the privilege by the Theatre Group at the University of Murcia.
