Yesterday was held in Spain Bolnuevo Championships regional selections I Triathlon "Villa de Mazarrón" with the participation of 14 autonomous communities and the Autonomous City of Melilla Mazarrón moved up to 200 athletes.
Only failed to attend Cantabria, La Rioja, Valencia, Ceuta.
The test took place in a gorgeous day in which there were more than 30 degrees centigrade and in the waters of the beach Bolnuevo were calm and clear for the triathletes.
Galicia was the region that eventually won the general classification, in which the points were added to the test both male and female.
In Catalonia the podium accompanied it, second, and the Community of Madrid, who finished third.
The championship was very exciting as the men's race was won by the team Catalonia, followed in second place by Galicia and Castilla La Mancha in third place, while in females Galicia was followed by Catalonia champion, in second place, Madrid and women completing the podium.
Despite the closeness of the championship, Galicia showed a good command of this sport as the overall winners in men and women were athletes representing this community.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, wanted to thank "the excellent work carried out by Red Cross and Civil Protection have shown that living up to the demands of this important sporting event."
