Sunday was held in Mazarrón the first of the three routes that make up the "Cruises Privilege" that have been organized by the Department of Culture of the City.
Some thirty brave walkers braved the unstable climate that prevailed during the day but that did not intimidate participants to "greatly enjoyed this activity, which began in Mojon beach, at the boundary between Cartagena and Mazarrón, and ending on of Parazuelos after nearly seven hours of intense journey, "said the organizer of the initiative, John S.

The participants, who came from various geographical locations as Lorca Murcia and La Manga, "were fascinated by the beauty of the coast Mazarron and, above all, in the area of ​​the coves at the foot of the Sierra de Las Moreras".
The weather, although adverse, had a wink with which they interpreted as a good omen and a pretext for starting off.
What happened was that "at the end in the time of taking the group photo, was marked in the sky a beautiful rainbow that was born in the west, right at the end of its route," says Calventus.
With this "signal" and very good pace began a march that took them to walk in the rain for the next four hours.
However not decline in morality and the rain never ended up becoming an encouragement and fun for participants.
For sections, mud hamper progress attempt participant but they made him excitement and laughter.
Finally, the last two hours of walking out a pleasant autumn sun that served "to dry our clothes and bones" admits Calventus.
During the time covered walk the 25 miles between the Cairn Cairn area of ​​Isla Plana, with the milestone that marks the municipality Mazarron to Lorca and is located in Los cloques of Parazuelos.
Hikers latter arrived at 14:30, half an hour ahead of schedule and with an average of 4.5 km / h.
The second of these routes will be held on Sunday, November 4.
This limit has been titled and will travel west, in about 4 hours, 12 kilometers from the port area Pastrana and Muriel.
The third will be held on December 2 and has been called "Raise Limit".
This time the route, about 27 miles, and run between Campo Nubla Mojon beach.
In the latter route, which will run for eight hours, it will rise to the highest peak of the town as is El Algarrobo, where you can enjoy stunning views.

All tours are free, but be aware that the remaining two are especially hard so it is advisable to have experience as a hiker to participate in any of them.
