The Taekwondo Club Mazarrón has again to shine in a sports competition class.
This time it was in the Championship of Spain in cadet category held last weekend in the town of Gandia (Valencia).
The good performance of Mazarron Ruben Garcia and Antonio Mendez helped Murcia quedase selection runner in this sporting event, reaching over other regions with a greater number of federal licenses.
Ruben Garcia made a superb performance in the form of pen weight less than 45 kilograms, on which hung the silver runner.
Round after round, Garcia showed great physical shape on the mat reaching the desired final in which he could not get rid of the representative of the Valencia Community.
Bronze was the metal that hung around his neck Antonio Mendez who, like his partner, beat all opponents until he was defeated in the semifinals by the representative of Catalonia in the form of heavy-weight over 65 kg.
The winning team of this tournament was the Cadet category Basque regional selection, followed by Murcia.
The podium completeness Autonomous Community of Catalonia in third.
