Mazarrón Town Council has initiated several plans to improve rural roads in the township.

Work has already started on the path of the corners, in the Mill in Majada in Los Samaritos in Atalaya and road Ganuelas from RM-2 to the chapel of the parish.

Councillor for Rural Development, Magdalena Mendez, stressed that "the work completed in the next few days, improving road safety and mobility of citizens in rural parts of the municipality."

In the path of the corners is conducting a steady improvement through a pavement executed based hot bituminous mixture with a total length of 1350 meters and 4.50 meters wide.

In Majada also is holding firm improved through a pavement base executed hot asphalt mix in Mill Road, which has 360 meters long and 4.50 meters wide.

In regard to the path of Samaritos with 410 m long and 4 m wide, improvement is also improved through a firm executed based pavement hot bituminous mixture.

Finally conditioning Ganuelas Road from RM-2 to the chapel of the parish is being conducted by a layer of artificial gravel subbase and surface course based hot bituminous mix, plus the three-step execution and marking underground horizontal and vertical.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "the acometimiento of these improvements is a major effort by the City Council and is being pursued by funds from the municipal coffers full."

This effort, according to the mayor, "can be carried out thanks to good management that we are making the economic resources available to the council and that has, as its ultimate goal, improving the quality of life for citizens who live in our districts. "
