The Social Centre for the Elderly of Puerto de Mazarrón is celebrating this November during its twentieth anniversary with an extensive program of leisure activities and initiatives that will conclude on Wednesday 28 with the screening of the film "Sideways".

Among the activities planned, on Wednesday held the inauguration of the exhibition "Wine Route of the Region of Murcia" organized by the largest in the center and you can have up to 26 on Monday from 10.30 to 13.00 hours and from 17.00 to 19.00.

The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and Senior Managing Director of Murcia Institute of Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez, who accompanied the Councillor for Social Policy, Maria Martinez.

The exhibition includes a large sample of all elements used for the harvest of the grapes and making wine, a map of the region with the different denominations of origin Murcia as well as a selection of wines from different parts of Jumilla, Yecla and Bullas , among other places in the region.

Visiting the exhibition is completed with the offer of a wine and cheese lid and olives to all attendees.

The celebration of 20 years of the center and had a Dance Birthday Special Lottery on Saturday November 10 and continue with an afternoon with the participation Corals Coral Neighborhood Association and the Coral Azohía "Bay Mazarrón, the coral Senior Center. Cafe also held a special Tertulia called "Deconstructing the myths of old age" which received the Mayor of Mazarrón, the talk "Advice on medication" given by a nurse Centre health of the town, and first Evening of Theatre by the Group "Sunset", the Center Theatre Group, with adaptation staged reading of the play "The Wars of our ancestors", Miguel Delibes, who, on this occasion, was attended by the mayor Maria Martinez

During this weekend was held a second evening of theater by the Group "Sunset" whose members staged a number of stand-up comedy.

A Cineforum with the screening of the film "Sideways" for Wednesday at 17 hours may be the end to the celebration.

The Mayor of Mazarrón stressed that "the components of the Port Senior Center are an example of vitality and participation and should be congratulated Participation Council and partners of the Centre for the awesome activities that continuously make".
