Rafael Pardo Solis won the eighth edition of the National Fishing Open "Mazarrón Bay" held the evening of Saturday in Bolnuevo beaches and El Castellar de Puerto de Mazarrón.
The Open was held as scheduled, under a perfect night for fishing, and in contention with 82 fishermen who enjoyed the test.
The species caught were blacksmiths and vogues, the first species that dominated most Castellar beach and the species bogas more entertained fishermen Bolnuevo Beach.
The champion, Rafael Solis, who is part of the Fishing Club "Barbo" scored a total of 58 catches auparon him to the top of the podium.
At the awards ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Sports City, Andres Valera.
Club mate Andres Jara Muñoz, was ranked second, while the third place overall went to José Ángel Aznar, the Club "Tecnopesca".
The trophy for the most part succeeded José Martínez López, with Herrera 421 grams.
The total catch reached by all participants was 732 pieces, which yielded a total weight of 46 kilograms.
The Fishing Club Puerto de Mazarrón, organizer of this competition has been sponsored by the City of Mazarrón, also gave all attendees with a wonderful barbecue.
The sporting event ended with a raffle of gifts and deliver two gifts from the club to the councils of the consistory Sports Fishing, represented by the mayor and the councilor Andres Valera Magdalena Mendez.
