The school and Primary Education "Miguel Delibes" will have a small botanical garden thanks to the joint work being developed by the Association in the center "Reforestadores Mazarrón", the Southeastern Association of Naturalists (ANSE) and the Department of Environment Environmental Hall of Mazarrón.
The garden, which are participating in the school's center for creation, will feature a collection of 40 different species of native plants.
Specifically, the botanical garden consists of a small collection of traditional varieties of fruit on the way out as nispoleros, apple, hawthorn, pear and pereteros, 4 beds of native shrubs and bushes with special emphasis on spices and flower; a large parterre which represent five littoral ecosystems southeast own Iberian sunshine and shady thickets, gullies, dunes, salt marshes, and 12 deciduous trees to provide shade to the courtyard of the school.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed "that this project is twofold because, besides being pedagogically children with diverse knowledge also instills environmental values."
The mayor stressed that "it is important to continue working with the school on this line, because this project recovers a conference and I'm sure many similarly did when we were little."

"
In the presentation this morning also attended Julio Maria Dolores, "Reforestadores Mazarrón", José Sánchez, by ANSE, and Diego Morales, director of CEIP "Miguel Delibes".
All have agreed on the positives of this action as it is a "great way for children to have initial contact with nature."
