Once again, the garden of San Isidro district of Puerto de Mazarrón yesterday received a visit from dozens of animals to receive the traditional blessing of St. Anthony at the gates of the shrine of the saint.
Behaved citizens to place their pets and pets, among whom were a large number of dogs, birds, guinea pigs, an occasional turtle, and even a ferret.
Blessing ran this year by the new deacon of the parish of San José de Puerto de Mazarrón, Francisco Acosta Acosta, who pitched on the holy water animals, according to tradition, keeps them safe from the disease during the rest of the year.
