The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has issued an edict calling for agricultural enterprises and farmers who comply municipality whether to proceed with the burning of crop residues produced on farms in the municipality.
In this sense, the side determined shall require the authorization of the municipal environmental services to proceed with the burning of stubble and dried plants from farming.
It also prohibits the burning of plant residues in a range of 6 miles around and if population center, initiated a burn, it comenzase affect population centers or areas inhabited by atmospheric conditions, shall be suspended same until the weather permits to conduct burning in safety and respect for the lives of citizens.
Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to burn waste vegetable night starting no earlier than 08:00 am and must be terminated before 13:00 pm the same day.
Prescribed burning may be made only Monday through Thursday are expressly forbidden during the remaining days of the week and holiday periods concerned.
Finally, the fires are also prohibited during Christmas, Easter and Summer.
