The Department of Culture and Education have organized for the month of March a workshop titled "Build Your Puppet", through which stakeholders will teach dolls and puppets as factories with alternative materials and waste.
This workshop making these cute toys from recycled materials is free and aims to encourage manual dexterity and creative participants through the construction and management of various types of puppets.
This new activity is aimed at families and adults interested in developing and manipulating puppets.
Councillor for Education and Culture has explained that "parents can go with their children to this workshop. Promote an activity so that in addition to educational vision, also has a family perspective."
The mayor stressed that "it is best for children aged between 5 and 12 years to fully enjoy the workshop."
The workshop provides a maximum of 20 participants, so you should fill out a registration form that must be submitted to the municipal library "Gómez Jordana" de Mazarrón, or Puerto municipal library.
The registration period ends on March 10.
The workshop will be held at the Casa de Cultura de Mazarron on Saturday 16 and 23 March, 10 to 13 hours on both days.
Furthermore, as discussed Soria, "at the end of the workshop will be a function with puppets made during the course of the classes to which we will invite everybody."
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has encouraged citizens "to participate in this initiative fun, new, free and, most importantly, we can share with the family."
