This morning the foreign residents association Live Protection and Saving (PALS) has donated various medical and health supplies to Mazarrón Civil Protection has been received by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo.
This new grant from the partnership has meant for her a payment of 8,000 euros.
The donor material consists of two Palmcare Pulse Oximeters, a vacuum pump PVC mattress, mattress vacuum six handles, Sentry NSR monitor, chair-chair Evac evacuation, a volumetric infusion pump and Heartstart nine batteries.
Also, PALS, with the support of the City of Mazarrón, have organized a day to raise money in order to buy an ambulance that such an association is to be purchased to give the session that, in turn, made available to the Red Cross Mazarrón.
The event has evolved into the square of Callao and has attended the ambulance association wants to acquire encourage citizens of the municipality to support this cause.
PALS available until € 45,000 of the 57,000 it costs the vehicle.
Still, PALS is organizing a series of events to continue raising money for this cause.
Since 2000 until today, has donated to the session PALS and other city agencies a total of 188,414 euros.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied during actro the Councillor for Health and Social Policy, Maria Martinez, the mayor of Civil Protection, Miguel M ª García, and the head of Civil Protection, Pedro Arias stressed that "We must learn from this association of foreign residents, and others we have in the town, because they are an example of solidarity and selfless aid to the community, both native and foreign."
