On Saturday March 23, the Shrine of the Immaculate in Mazarrón hosted the event of the proclamation of Easter this year and the award ceremony "Nazareth 2013".
This reading was given by Luis Miguel Muñoz Rios, who was parish priest of St. Andrew the Apostle and St. Anthony of Padua between 1991 and 1995.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the current priest of that parish, Julio Romero, the presidents of the Councils of Guilds Easter and Puerto de Mazarrón, Francisco Morales and Cecilia Munoz, along with several members of Team Government and representatives of the Holy Week brotherhoods and Puerto de Mazarrón.
Luis Miguel Muñoz made a proclamation deep, reflective and apostolate in which soon caught the attention of those present inquiriéndoles "What have you come to hear tonight?"
and declaring that "no two alike cries because no two experiences alike."
The Reverend, currently responsible for the Delegation of Military Archdiocese Liturgy of Spain, noted that "the Easter begins as an action, not of men, but of Christ" and was talking about the steps involved in adding Mazarron processions poetic verses to this relationship.
Recognition "Nazareth 2013" was given to Thomas Zamora Ureña, President of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth is the brotherhood that this year has organized acts of Mazarrón Easter.
The award was presented by the Mayor of the municipality, Ginés Campillo, who commented that "it is a pleasure to give this award to Thomas because when crossing the street with him, one he passed Easter and the brotherhood for which it stands" .
Tomás Zamora highly appreciated this recognition and excited looking at the sky, he dedicated it to his wife Mendez Ventura.
Also participating in the ceremony, opening and closing the same, Cecilia Morales and Julio Romero priest.
Morales invited the audience to actively participate in the processions, while the parish priest of San Andres and San Antonio asked if "Is it true that those who are to participate in the Holy Week will be bearers of the love of Christ, not only these days, but all year long? ".
Romero devotees called "live Holy Week from silence and contemplation" as an essential part of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ.
The event featured a performance of "Quintet Almazarrón" that after thrilling the audience the day before the proclamation of the Holy Week in Puerto de Mazarrón, did the same during this act.
"Mater mea" Ricardo Dorado, "The Madrugá" Abel Moreno and "Our Father Jesus" Emilio Cebrián were some of the gear that, once again, masterfully interpreted the five young people who make up this set is already an essential part of Easter in the municipality.
