8 students and students of Open Classroom Secondary School "Philip II" de Mazarrón this morning visited the building of the town hall accompanied by their teachers.
The alumn @ s have been received by the Councillor for Education, Culture and Tourism of the City of Mazarrón, Maria Celeste Soria, who have been handed a gift in memory of this visit.
The mayor has talked a while with youth who have asked about historical aspects of the building and other monuments of the town.
In fact, the Councillor has made them a formal invitation to students @ s to visit, accompanied by a guide, the Archaeological Museum "Salt Roman Factory" and interpretation centers "Phoenician Ship" and "The Tower of The Horses ", in order to know better the history of Mazarrón.
Young people have also known the history and stories that surround the landmark building located in the Town Hall Square, visiting the Plenary Hall, the former mayor, the dungeons of the basement of the building and the floor, which also enjoyed painting sample "Pressure" Veronica Lopez-Briones artist set out in the Town Hall until 4 May.
The alumn @ s have been delighted with the activity and, surely, soon repeated visits to other parts of the city from the hands of the Department of Tourism.
