The adventurer and president of the Geographical Society of the Region of Murcia (SGRM) Juan Francisco Cerezo, who last year shot a chapter on Mazarrón for the program "The Edge of the Impossible" Spanish Television, has returned to town to offer a audiovisual lectures Mazarrón schoolchildren in which he realizes his adventures in various countries around the world.
On Thursday April 25, Cherry has been visited by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the Councillor for Education, Maria Celeste Soria, in the CEIP "Bay" of Puerto de Mazarrón.
He has also attended the meeting the center's director, Salvador Ardil.
Cherry explained that "the school has chosen Bay talk on Mongolia for the first episode of the series The World at pedals, which I will talk about my journey from Siberia to the Gobi Desert."
Other topics that others have chosen Mazarrón centers have been "Sumatra, life after the tsunami," focused on the humanitarian work that was performed following the tsunami that occurred in 2004, and also the "Road to Livingstone Africa exploration "among others.
As indicated Cherry, "with these talks also taught schoolchildren a different way to travel, as it is by bicycle", another passion of this restless adventurer.
All schools, except for "Francisco Caparros" Mazarrón and institutes have joined this initiative which will run during the month of May, which has the support of the Department of Education.
