The Department of Local Police reports Mazarrón Town Hall, until next June 15, agents of the municipal body will perform throughout the municipality a "Campaign of Companion Animal Surveillance".
The campaign is aimed to ensure compliance with the Ordinance Regulating the Keeping of Animals Protection and published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM) dated August 16, 2003.

Local Police Councilman, Isidro Coy, explained that "this campaign aims mentalizing animal owners about responsibility and respect for the rules of this ordinance, getting their cooperation to avoid soiling of roads with animal droppings.
