Mazarrón Athletics Club and its members continue to reap success wherever they compete.
On this occasion, athletes and Paul Mendez Natalia Aznar have garnered four new medals (3 gold and 1 silver) in Spain Summer Championship for the blind and visually impaired was held in the Valencian town of Torrent on the 18 and May 19.
Demonstrating once again excellent physical shape, Natalia Aznar won two gold medals in the youngest category.
The evidence on which the athlete was champion of Spain Mazarron was 50 meter dash and long jump.
For his part, Paul Mendez got into juvenile category gold medal in the 1000 meter sprint test and silver in 60 meters.
It should be noted, within the sport of athletics, this past weekend was also held in the town of Alhama de Murcia Regional Combined Events Championships in baby and juvenile categories.
An event in which the athlete Alvaro Carreno got the 4th position in triathlon, making an outstanding performance that left him on the edge of the medals.
The Department of Sports City of Mazarrón congratulates these two athletes for these new successes in this national occasion, reflecting his effort to overcome despite their visual impairment.
Indeed, both the consistory received recognition for his career last April.
A recognition that the City Athletic Club extends Mazarrón and the families of young people for their involvement and interest in municipal sport.
