The Department of Environment of the City of Mazarrón has prepared an extensive program to celebrate "World Environment Day" which is celebrated worldwide tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5 and that Mazarrón will run throughout the month of June under the slogan "green Mazarrón".
This was announced by the deputy mayor of the area, David Fernandez, who was accompanied at the presentation of Carmen Martinez and Mari Paz Romero, representatives of the Association of Southeast Naturalists (Anse).
As Fernández announced, "activities start next weekend with a workshop on wetland boardwalk that will give Anse mulberry trees. This will take place on Saturday June 8 by the weekly market and Mazarrón Sunday 9th in the Market Square of Puerto ".
Carmen Martínez and Paz Romero added that "through Life Project will carry out the distribution of information and various workshops with the children to spread the RAMSAR wetland of Mazarrón".
