The walk Augustine Herrerín, linking the beaches of La Isla and La Ermita, hosts until August 31 a craft market, as the past year has been launched under the name "Sailor Bay Market".
The inauguration, which took place last Saturday night, was given by the Deputy Mayor for Urban Development, Francisco Garcia, and Council of Celebration and Rural Development, Coy Isidro and Magdalena Mendez.
This inauguration was a show in which several dancers animated the night with their dances to Arabic music.
Tourists and residents gathered around the group to enjoy the show, while some of them took advantage of the opportunity to visit the different positions in which takes place selling various handicrafts such as gifts and jewelry, clothing and accessories, and sweet crafts, among others.
More than two dozen booths set up by the City make room for the various posts, that you can visit at dusk to midnight until next August 31.
The council of Celebration, Isidro Coy, said: "This summer, as we conducted last year, we have arranged to have two summer markets. Besides this on the beach in La Ermita, which opened today in the coming days will also launch the Costa Calida the avenue. "
The mayor stressed that "tourists demand this type of initiative, not only because it is a commercial activity but also has a cultural perspective, with which encourage summer nights".
