Tonight I officially started International Blues Festival "Mazarrón Bay" with a concert at the Peak of Barley, near the Club de Regatas de Mazarrón, Anais by Oliver and Ramon Climent.
The show will begin at 22 am and is free.
This new festival began its journey with great anticipation, because last Sunday was presented in the legendary Madrid Clamores very well received by the mainstream media as well as other specialized in the music world.
In regards to the artists performing tonight, we should mention Anais Oliver, a young rising star of jazz-blues arrival from Albo (Almería) to offer a repertoire full of the widest range of styles of the genre.
The progression of the young woman has no limits and is awaiting the imminent release of her album of R & B with famed producer Jesus Yanes, where influences from Etta James, through to Amy Winehouse Ella Fitzgerald, are very present.
She will be accompanied by the experience of the best jazz piano touch by Ramon Climent, who plays a wide repertoire of original compositions and arrangements own versions of the best known jazz standards from the 50s' to the Today, through all the genres like swing, blues, ballads, latin jazz, jazz-rock and traditional bebop.
Climent has worked as a pianist, arranger and conductor of numerous ensembles such as Mirage-Band, Ralf Ambruster Quintet, Roland Jurkowski, Udo Gebel or Arthur Maghmoni.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "it's an interesting plan for Wednesday night that can be enjoyed completely free of charge by the lovers of good music".
For the mayor, this particular concert, and international blues festival in general, "are an example of the strong commitment that we are making from the consistory to create a range of leisure and free time that is attractive for both tourists and for residents of our municipality. "
