This morning we proceeded to the raising of the flag of the 'Q' Quality Tourism Board on the beach of the Seas, better known as "Bahia Grande" which is one of the four new beaches that have earned this certification by Bay, Nares and Bolnuevo.
The 4 new distinctions are in addition to the two that were renewed this year Rihuete beaches and El Castellar, being 6 such flags waving in the Mazarrón coastline.
The lifting was performed by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and councilors Francisco Garcia, Maria Celeste Soria, Isidro Coy and Michael M ª García; whose delegations are responsible for various aspects to be met beaches for a flag 'Q' Quality.
The mayor said he was "very happy to have achieved this goal we had set, tripling the number of the certificate on the bet as a hallmark of the quality of our beaches."
Mazarrón thus becomes "the second city of the Region of Murcia with more number of flags of 'Q' Quality, being the fastest growing over the past year in the number of certifications" stated Campillo, who has revealed that "We are already studying what are the beaches that we also want to get this certificate, once we us mark a new goal, a determined plasmemos municipal budgets for next year," stated Ginés Campillo.
The Mayor of Mazarrón has congratulated his fellow government team and technicians and operators of the different areas involved "because we have made a great effort and painstaking work, after this award encourages us to continue working in this direction ".
The mayor also welcomed that Mazarrón is a major participant in the 30 distinctions 'Q' Quality Tourism granted to the Region of Murcia, which is an increase of almost 20% in the number of places on the coast of the Costa Calida which achieves this cataloging.
"A Costa Calida we're all", said the Mayor.
Thus, Murcia ranks as the third region at certifications 'Q' on beaches, just behind Andalusia and Valencia, with the most flags province region 'Q' of Spain.
