Until 29 September you can visit in Puerto de Mazarrón a new exhibition entitled 'Artemisia' that, this time, it is a collective picture shows the artist's studio and Professor Javier Lorente.
The exhibition, located at the lower strip shopping Tierno Galván Port number 35, can be visited for free every day from 18-24 hours.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Friday by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by artist Javier Lorente and council Coy Isidro, Juan Miguel Muńoz and Andrew James, as well as members of that workshop titled like the show.
As explained Javier Lorente, "this is an exhibition that collect various works of members of different exposures monothematic workshop we have been leading for several exhibition halls of the Region of Murcia, and also beyond it."
Although not represented all exposures made by the workshop said, "we have mixed boxes of different samples because it was our presentation here in Mazarrón".
Lorente thanked the City Council and the Mayor of Mazarrón "the wonderful support they have given us at all times, helping us in everything that we needed."
Meanwhile, Ginés Campillo said that "it is a pleasure to have Javier Lorente and members of 'Artemisia' exhibit in this gallery has also hosted improvised samples 'Return' and 'Life'."
The mayor said that "two years ago Art and Culture have opened the doors in Mazarrón and never more than now, opening an important stage of cultural revitalization in the municipality."
In this sense, the Mayor of Mazarrón said that "we are working on this line and we have prepared 18 exhibitions from now to December 2014."
The exhibition 'Artemisia' features over fifty works that can be seen from portraits, to nudes, to landscapes.
All paintings are marked by an intense use of color, which makes them particularly striking, cheerful and full of life.
