The Office of Citizen of Camposol, located at the Community Center Sector B of that urbanization began last Friday to provide the service of municipal register.
This new service was introduced by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, Councillor for Foreign Residents Care, Jose Gomez, and Mayor headman of Saladilla José Andrés Navarro, who found personally how it has begun to operate.
All first and last Friday of every month, "Camposol residents citizens can take 10 to 12 hours for this office to register, confirm your residence, update your information or ask any questions about the municipal and electoral" said Ginés Campillo.
To do this, an official of the Department of Statistics will move the above days to the Office of Citizen of Camposol, where stakeholders will assist both in Castilian and English, thanks to the presence of a translator.
The Councillor for Foreign Residents Care, Jose Gomez, said that "in Camposol are surveyed about 6,000 people, but the actual population may be around 9,000 people. With this new service, we hope to register people around 1,000 inhabitants ".
In late 2012, the census of the parish of Saladillo (which belongs Camposol) amounted to 5,801 persons, while the current number has risen to the 5,894 registered inhabitants.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "with this service we continue our commitment to normalize the situation of Camposol. A development that until our arrival at the front of City Hall was abandoned in many ways, and our objective to solve the problems arising to provide optimal service. "
The mayor added that "it is very positive for the city to cense the greatest number of people, it is essential to have real data as possible on the town to apply for grants or fees to be charged according to the volume of people."
In fact, the rise of people so far in 2013 not only affected Saladilla but also reflected in the total population of the municipality being of 35,912 at the end of 2012 and 36,356 as of today.
