The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and Councilman Sports City of Mazarrón, Andrew James, gave notice yesterday delivering municipal subsidies to sports clubs and associations of the municipality for the year 2012.
A total of 118,079.28 euros were delivered for the first time, broke down under some new parameters and have led to an increase of almost 20% over the previous year.
As explained by the mayor of Sports "the total economic game, 70% (82,655.29 euros) corresponded to federal licensing expenses. 8% of the total (9446.40 euros) have been allocated to those clubs who have out maintenance of sports facilities.'s 12% (14,169.60 euros) was awarded to those clubs and associations have organized sporting events in the city and finally, the remaining 10% (11,808.00 euros) have been distributed according to the rankings and achievements of each club sport, "said Andrew James.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, said that "investing in Sport is also investing in education and training. Therefore, since 2011 we have been increasing the economic game intended for clubs and associations in the town".
Specifically, "in 2011 were awarded 97,500 euros compared to 118,080 this year, representing an increase of more than 20,000 euros. A clear, firm and resolute commitment to Sport and youth in the municipality that has been possible thanks our thorough economic management front of City Hall. "
