Mazarrón Town Council and Headquarters Permanent Extension of the University of Murcia (UMU) in the municipality have been scheduled, with the collaboration of the College of Criminologists Association of the Region of Murcia, a conference on Public Safety to be held on Thursday 17 and Friday October 18 in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón, better known as 'House of Culture'.
The conference was yesterday presented by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the Councillor for Education, Maria Celeste Soria, director UMU extension in the municipality, Fernando Navarro, and Professor of Law and Criminology and co-director of the meeting Juan José Nicolás.
The latter beat out the program will feature prominent speakers and "which will address topics of great interest and topical such as organized crime, terrorism, violence, alcohol consumption among young and reckless driving that occurs as a result of this fact, "as well as" the point of view of criminology within the world of Public Safety and its relation to the security and police forces, both local and national level ".

Meanwhile, Fernando Navarro commented that "this event is more than a conference, congress of how we will undertake the issue of public safety from a holistic as well as the high academic level of the same and the value of speakers as teachers come from diverse fields. "
Navarro recalled that "in addition, according to the rules of the UMU, you can request recognition of 1 ECTS-CRAU and the corresponding diploma issued to all participants."
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, once again welcomed the return of the UMU to Mazarron because "I knew that we would pay big dividends" and said that "there are several actions and activities on which we are working to promote Quality Education in our town ".
The mayor thanked "Fernando Navarro and Juan José Nicolás its work to implement this congress to which all are called to participate because it's critical to educate to prevent crimes and misdemeanors, rather than having to correct or prosecute an offense".
